1. Communication with another students in the examination hall. Punishment: Cancelation of the paper for both students. 2. Possession of extraneous materials in the examination hall. Punishment: suspension for one academic session. 3a. Copying from extraneous materials 3b. Copying from materials received from another students in the examination hall. Punishment: suspension for two academic session for the student or students involved. 4. Impersonation in Examination. Punishment: expulsion of both students from the university if they are both students of the University of Calabar and only our student was impersonated for if the other person is not a student 5. Prof. Ishaq Oloyede gets reappointed as JAMB Registrar for another 5 years

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reappointment of Ishaq Oloyede as Registrar/Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for a second term of five years. Similarly, Prof Abubakar Rasheed has also been reappointed as Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission(NUC) for another five years and Hamid Bobboyi as Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission(UBEC) for a second term of four years. According to a statement by the Director, Press and Public Affairs, Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Bem Goong, the appointments were based on the recommendation of Minister of Education, Honurable Adamu Adamu. David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE has announced the handing over of the King David University of Medical Sciences Uburu to the Catholic Bishops Conference for optimum management and academic excellence. In a statement made available to Newsmen by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Francis Nwaze, the Governor made the announcement during the Episcopal Ordination and Installation of Rt. Rev. Msgr. Peter Nworie Chukwu as the 3rd Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Abakaliki on Thursday, August 19, 2021. JAMB 2021 cut-off mark policy meeting holds August 31st, minimum cut-off mark to be decided

JAMB, in conjunction with heads of tertiary institutions, will hold the 2021 policy meeting to determine minimum cut-off marks and other issues for admissions into the 2021/2022 academic session. This meeting will be chaired by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu. Apart from the announcement of the minimum admission cut-off, the JAMB bulletin stated that; “The meeting is expected to chart policy directions for the nation’s tertiary institutions, set admission guidelines and present application statistics, candidates’ performance as well as evaluate the 2021 Admission exercise". Governor Umahi is like the proverbial witch rat. It bites your toe at night while blowing it cold so you don't feel the pain. Then you wake up with a deep sore in the morning realising you've nearly bled out. I will say this for the umpteenth time, Ebonyians will realise the much ruins that Umahi's government has caused the state when he's long gone. They will wake up to look for all the abstract and white elephant projects but they won't find any. The flyovers will turn to skeletons hanging in a museum. People would be scared to cross under them because the law of disuse would play out. Like an uninhabited house, it would wear, crack and tear, and God forbid, collapse. The extension is base on the grounds that the current academic session is still on with examinations! However, the school management are yet to disclosed a new date for resumption but close source has it that new academic session is likely to start by next month (September) Freshers are therefore advise to ignore all resumption date flaunting on media and await an official resumption date from the school management while also proceeding for payment of acceptance fee.
